I'm on YouTube! Check this out:

For my "gig" I teach music in an elementary school. I got some musician friends of mine together and we did a concert at my school for the last day of school assembly. A 6th grader with a video phone apparently took this footage.

Dood, I never saw this before? Haha! Sick man; Kansas is one of my all time favorite bands. It reminds me of when I was a kid and my father's band used to play in the garage and cover this and other songs. Definitely a cool thing to do for those kids. I like the little description excerpt. "Mr. Gaulke (gol-kee) played a lot of songs. one was "eruption" but im not sure what this one is...."

    Heheh...
teach them ROCK 101, Appreciation and THEORY dood! ;p

Haahah! Thanks for the "props", faced. Since your dad played, do you play? I'm working on getting some originals put together on ProTools (which I recently got) and creating a MySpace page and putting stuff on it.

I play, but mainly acoustic songs. My favs are playing Layla and Tears in Heaven... but also Neil Young songs.

I tend to stray toward some contemporary rock songs for what I play now. Although, many 'classic' songs are what keep me playing. Stone Temple Pilots, Sick Puppies, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin... or anything I can try and turn from electric to acoustic really. I'm not as musically inclined as most though; it takes me A LOT of effort to play songs. Whereas, other people can hear tunes and just mimic them, I'm quite the opposite. Wink

I guess it wouldn't be as much fun if it were that easy though. hehe
